Site Manager

An award-winning energy consultancy are seeking a Site Manager to join their team. This is a full time permanent position with travel across the UK as and when required.

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 p.a. + Excellent Benefits including Car Allowance, Pension and Private Health Care 

Location: UK Wide

The Role 

Reporting to the Construction Director and working closely with the other areas of the business your role will involve:

• Promoting, performing and enforcing Health and Safety culture.
• Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project or a package, ensuring that the clients specification and requirements are met, reviewing works and liaising with the project management team to monitor costs.
• Coordination and supervision of construction workers.
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.
• Making safety inspections and ensuring works are carried out in a safe manner ad in accordance with CDM.
• Deliver toolbox talks on site appropriate to the current working conditions.
• Enforcing safety procedures, minimising risk, ensuring the use of protective clothing, hard – hat, harnesses and other safety equipment.
• Managing all assigned site-based activities.
• Motivating team members and maintain positive work environments.

The Person 

Essential

• Background in Mechanical and Electrical Site based Construction.
• Experience using Site Management Software.
• Experience in Health and Safety (including legislation) ·
• Full driver’s license and willing to travel (UK Only).
• Methodical and well organised.
• Excellent communication skills to all business levels.
• Ability to read and interpret Schematics and Site Plans.
• Understanding of managing work in live environments.
